Make Money Selling Hickory Wood Chips

Chopping wood is an excellent way to earn money for the winter months when people are burning wood in their fireplaces. But did you know you can earn money by chopping hickory wood into chips during the summer months? During the hottest part of the year, many people enjoy grilling in the outdoors.  Nothing gives meat more flavor than barbequing over wood chips. This style of grilling is popular in Texas where they grill over mesquite wood chips instead of charcoal. That same style can be mimicked with other woods, like hickory. Make money by chopping hickory trees and then cutting them into chunks or chips. Take the bits of wood and package them into the bags to sell.
Hickory
Decide where you can find hickory trees. If you already own land which hickory trees grown on, then you are in good shape. The trees belong to you and you can get busy with the cutting. If you do not own hickory trees, then visit nearby properties and speak to property owners. Considering that one hickory tree can produce 10,000 small bags of hickory chips, you don’t have to chop down many trees.
